A number of art sites have this body perspective project. It’s a project the kids enjoy, and they all seem to know what they want to portray.

Supplies:   

  • White construction paper (12″ x 18″)
  • Tan construction paper
  • Brown or black construction paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Crayons or colored markers
  • Black Sharpie

Directions:

  1. Discuss perspective.Decide on the activity that your picture will portray.
  2. Trace your hands on the tan paper and your shoes on brown or black paper.
  3. Carefully cut out hands and feet or shoes.
  4. Glue the hands and feet or shoes on the white paper.
  5. Draw a body behind the hands and feet depicting the activity you have chosen.
  6. Color using the crayons or colored markers.  Make sure the complete background is colored.
  7. Outline with black Sharpies.
