Landscape in Oil Pastel

Beautiful landscapes in simple, bold lines. 

 

Supplies:

• Black construction paper
• White crayon
• Oil pastels

 Directions:

1. With the white crayon, draw a simple landscape. 
2. Color in the areas with oil pastels.  Use warm and cool colors, separating earth and sky.  Use the warm colors for the earth and cool colors for the sky, or use cool for the earth and warm for the sky.
3. Highlight each section with white oil pastel.
4. With the edge of the black oil pastel, outline all.  Turn to keep an edge on the pastel so you have a clean black mark between the colors.
