I saw this on Mrs. Brown’s site, http://www.mrsbrownart.com/1st.htm and thought it was fantastic. A project that is truly awesome when finished.
Supplies:
- Copy of toad on white construction paper (Pattern)
- Black construction paper
- Pencil
- Colored markers
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Directions:
- With your pencil, create all sorts of designs in your toad. Use lines, circles, patterns, squares, triangles, dots, dashes, stars, flowers, hearts, stripes and zig-zag lines. Anything that you can think of.
- With the colored markers, color the different spaces with many, different, bright colors.
- Cut out the finished toad and glue it to the black paper
